KFI developed the NAUT Thermal Desktop Printer for a customer who wished to maintain the same user experience provided by the NAUT Panel Printer. Also, our customer wished to maintain the exact same host interface. And by doing so, our customer could add a cash register printer to reprint receipts on request with almost no software development costs. Both panel printer and desktop printer share the same loading mechanism and simple maintenance procedures. They even use the same type of paper. Consequently our customer was able to both reduce staff training and avoid additional inventory costs.
